The 2010 Stampede Challenge AAA Hockey Tournament is scheduled to take place in the Calgary area from Fri, June 25th to Mon, June 28th just prior to the world famous Calgary Exhibition & Stampede. This is the 16th year for this event, which has traditionally been attended by top regional AAA teams from both Canada and the U.S.A.

Past attending players have been heavily scouted at the tournament, some progressing to major junior and professional levels. Last year's tournament was filled to capacity.

We'll feature boys divisions from Tyke thru Bantam and girls divisions PeeWee and Bantam. (We have added Gold and Silver divisions this year to accommodate the
top AAA teams as well as the developmental AAA teams). Our continuing goal
is to provide a forum for the very best regional teams to compete annually in
the top AAA hockey tournament in North America.

APPLICATION PROCESS:
(Follow these steps for completion and submission of Application form, Hotel Accommodations, Insurance documents, Team Roster Information, Team Background Information, and Team photo)

STEP 1.

Fill out the Team Application Form and fax it to (403)948-9477 or email to wildwest@efirehose.net. After receiving your submit team application, we will send conditional acceptance, if there is space available in that age division and pending the receipt of your entry deposit fee.

STEP 2.

Within 7 days of the date your application - Mail the original application form along with the entry fee(or applicable deposit amount) payable to Stampede Challenge at: RR#2, Airdrie, Alberta, T4B 2A4 or call/fax your credit card information to Stampede Challenge @ 403-948-4280 fax: 403-948-9477.

STEP 3.

By April 15th, 2010 - If you paid only the applicable deposit amount at the time of registration, send the balance of payment or call/fax your credit card information to Stampede Challenge.

STEP 4.

By April 30th, 2010 - Contact a hotel accommodation for your team or group from our reserved block of hotels listed on our website. Availability is tight, so please make your reservations early.

STEP 5.

By May 15th, 2010 - Complete and sign Insurance Declaration form and send a copy of your team insurance policy. (A blank copy of the Insurance Declaration form is on our web page). Complete and submit your Team Roster online. Ensure your roster includes player's, heights, weights, birth dates, position played and brief background on your team (such as where your players are from, how long your team has played together, etc.)

All team rosters must be finalized by May 15/10. Any lineup changes after this deadline are subject to tournament approval and must be submitted in writing. For more details, see Roster Size on the next page.For the purpose of scouting players at the 2010 tournament and for future scouting considerations, please include with your player roster, a separate list of player names, mailing address and email addresses for all teams.

STEP 6.

By May 15th, 2010 - Email your team photo or team logo to wildwest@efirehose.net. Be sure to identify your photo by team name and age division on the email "Subject"; line. Please send digital photos in jpg format. ACCEPTANCE: You will be notified of your acceptance in the 2010 Stampede Challenge by return email or fax or email.

Hotel Accomodations: "STAY AND PLAY" Accommodations required. Availability is expected to be very tight, so it is imperative that you finalize your reservations early. We have reserved blocks of hotel rooms in proximity of arenas for teams attending the 2010 Stampede Challenge with special sports rate guaranteed for our participating teams.
